Day 1

Arrival & Round One

Morning
Drive from NYC (90 min) or Metro-North to Rhinecliff
Metro-North Poughkeepsie line, then taxi. Easy if avoiding traffic.

Garrison Golf Club
Dick Wilson design on the Hudson River. Walk it — the caddies here are excellent.
8:00 PM
Calliope Kitchen
Rhinebeck farm-to-table institution. Book weeks out. Excellent natural wine list.

Day 2

Main Round & Departure

Samuel's Sweet Shop
Rhinebeck village staple. Pancakes and the local newspapers.

Bethpage Black
The crown jewel. Longer and harder than expected. The Red is an excellent alternative.

Spanky's Clam Bar
Casual waterfront lunch near the Walkway Over the Hudson. Fish tacos and local craft beer.
5:00 PM
Afternoon: Scenic drive home via Rt 9
Stop at the Montgomery Place Orchards if apples are in season. The drive itself is the finale.
